1959 MGA Coupe Race Car with many upgrades Reserved
A very special MGA Fixed Head Coupe, it took 3 years to fully restore from the ground up during 2005 to 2008 by dedicated MG enthusiast who used the car on lots of events including the Shelesly Walsh Hillclimb. Car has won many static prizes and done a fair number of tulip rallies, always attracting a good croud when parked.
Eventually he needed cash for a business venture so reluctanly sold the MGA in 2014 (he has regretted ever since he now says) The subsequent owner used it as a long distance rally car driving it to LeMans on numerous occasions.
Lots of upgrades, 1800 MGB engine and gearbox, Weber carb, Grooved front discs, Sebring front wings and loads more. Ideal road or track day event car.
Motorway capable with sustained high speed it is a superb example, gleaming fault-free bodywork and fully sorted ready for the rally season. This is a car to be used and enjoyed not a trailer queen!
