1933 Alvis Firefly Racing Special £67,995 Sold

Engineer-built from the frame up on a 1933 shortened/lightened Firefly Chassis with a superb 2-seat polished aluminium body. The body was handbuilt and virtually indistinguishable in every detail from a pre-war racer right down to the cockpit with polished brass pipes and vintage leather seats. It is powered by a 6 cylinder Alvis TD 3-litre engine coupled to a Silver Crest syncro gearbox and is not for the feint hearted. Most parts new or reconditioned, many rare and original components including instruments. Suitable for road or racetrack. Looks awesome, sounds like thunder, goes like a rocket!

1935 Alvis Speed 20 Charlesworth Sports Sal.
£59,950 SOLD
One for the enthusiast, a prize-winning Alvis Speed 20 Sports Saloon with coachwork by Charlesworth. It is in fabulous original order having had only 5 private keepers in 76 years with a continuous history starting with the first owner.
Understandably it drives exactly as it should which i can personally vouch for having driven it 300 miles virtually non-stop when collecting the car from NW Scotland. This is a car for serious rallying as can be seen from the hundreds of Alvis Club Events photos in the history file which also includes service invoices for over £42,500.
It has a full syncromesh gearbox and being the SC model it has the more powerful 2.7 litre engine with triple SU's. Recent works include professional repaint and repairs to the timber frame by skilled cabinet maker who also made the bespoke teak sun visor which is designed to be easily removable.
Presents impeccably with faultless chromework and deliciously patinated leather interior.
